The NNL has released the 2025/26 season fixtures, and our path back to the NPFL is set. 18 games across five months. Nine opponents stand between us and promotion. Let's walk through what Season 5 looks like.

10 teams. Nine home games. Nine away games. One promotion spot.
Opening Day: A Familiar Challenge
Saturday, November 15 vs Osun United (H)
We open the season at home against Osun United—a team that frustrated us to a 0-0 draw away last season after beating us at Onikan. It's a tough challenge, but it's the perfect test for Coach Jeff's first competitive league game in charge.
Coach Jeff has already shown what he's about. Just weeks ago, he led the team to victory in the Gold Cup in Sagamu against in a competition that had Clubs like Lobi Stars and Sunshine Stars.
November-December: Finding Our Rhythm
The opening month sees us alternate between home and away fixtures without travelling out of Lagos. First Bank FC away at Onikan Stadium on November 22, then Stormers come to Lagos on November 29.
Stormers. That name should ring a bell.
In 2023, when we secured promotion to the NPFL for the first time, the match that decided it all was against Stormers SC. We haven't faced them since. This will be the first time we've met since that day, and it's happening at Onikan. Some reunions write themselves.
December keeps us moving: away to Rovers FC, home to Akwa United (now managed by our former coach, Coach Paul—more on that in a moment), away to Abakaliki FC, then home to Ekiti United before Christmas.
January-March: The Reunion Tour
December 15 vs Akwa United (H)
Coach Paul returns to Onikan. Fan favourite, and the man who helped us get promoted will be in the opposite dugout. It's one of those matches that means more than three points.
As the fixtures reverse in the new year, we have doublefixtures against both Dakkada FC and Solution FC. We face Dakkada away on January 3, then host them at Onikan on February 8. Solution FC visits us on January 11 before we travel to them on January 31.
February and March close out the season with Ekiti United away, Abakaliki at home, then a challenging March run that includes away trips to Akwa United, Stormers SC, and Osun United, with home fixtures against Rovers FC and First Bank FC sandwiched in between.
The Path Forward
The NNL has announced that there will be no playoffs this season. What that means is that the team that finishes top of our group will gain automatic promotion to the NPFL. So, every point counts.
Season 5 begins on November 15 at Onikan Stadium. Coach Jeff's first league game. A rematch against a team that beat us last season. The perfect place to start setting things right.
Let's get to work.
All fixtures are subject to change.
