WHAT'S THE GOTHIA CUP?

The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest youth football tournament, held annually and hosting over 1,700 teams from around the world, across different age groups and gender categories.

This year’s edition will hold from Sunday, July 13th to Saturday, July 19th, 2025.

WINNING LAST YEAR

In our debut participation last year, we triumphed in the Gothia Puma B17 (Boys U17) category, winning the coveted trophy and defeating teams like IFK Norrkoping, Norcal Premier, Mjallby and Beyond limits en route the final. We were crowned champions after defeating FC Tokyo 4-0 in the final.

Babatunde Akomolede also won the MVP award for our category, getting worldwide media recognition for his long throws, which were always so dangerous and led to goalscoring chances.

LET'S RULE THE WORLD AGAIN!

Our boys will compete in the Gothia Puma Trophy B17 (Boys U17) for the second year running, this time as defending champions. We will compete against 27 other teams in this category, including two Nigerian teams - Beyond Limits and Derby Football Academy.

OPPONENTS

Our group opponents this year are two Swedish teams - Mjallby AIF, IFK Goteborg, and Azerbaijan’s Qarabag FK. We will be competing for the two qualification spots into the next round of the Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). 

FIXTURES

We will begin our campaign against IFK Goteborg at the SKF Arena on Monday 14th of July, before facing Qarabag FK at the same venue on Tuesday. We will wrap up our group games on Wednesday, 16th with a clash against Mjallby AIF at the Heden-4 Puma pitch.
